Labour needs to rethink the benefits system, said shadow works and pensions secretary Liam Byrne.
Reuters Labour must be "tough-minded" on employment and the welfare state, according to Liam Byrne, the party's shadow work and pensions secretary. 
Barack Obama may well be down in the popularity polls, but not because of the Republican Party. Indeed the incoherent Republicans are struggling to come up with a viable candidate to take on Obama in the 2012 U.S. presidential election.
