Private-sector employment dropped by 2.87 percent in the Albany, New York, area during the first two years of the economic slowdown.
The Capital Region's private-sector jobs fell from 337,359 in 2008 to 327,687 in 2009.
The decline was worse nationally--5.2 percent over the same period--according to a report issued Tuesday by On Numbers.
In Britain 45% of marriages end in divorce. Financial wrangling follows and the partings become acrimonious. John Cleese's 2009 divorce settlement has been publicised as costing him up to 20m. He launched his "alimony tour", saying he'd been forced out of retirement to meet the financial demands of his ex-wife.
